IN SPRING AND SUMMER  :
Le parc du Mercantourwhich is a perfect place for the long walks is well known for its flora and fauna. Its famous wolves were brought in not long ago ( access is available throuth the valley de la Vésubie).

Walk in the 4x4 vallée des merveilles : the famous prehistoric place..

Take the train des merveilles and discover the magnificent vallee de la Roya.

Take a motor and you'll get to les cols alpins (Alpine collar) that is 2500m high.

Col de reste fond: That's the highest collar in Europe (Lomarde, massif l'esterel). Pass the typical italian frontier roads (Tende, col de Braus, Sospel).
   

 
IN WINTER :
you can go skiing : take a car or Isola 2000 bus in Auron, then go through the valley of Tinee or take le train des pignes to La Foux d'Allos through the vallée du var.
